Skiing resorts: Fassa ValleyThe nine skiing areas of the Fassa Valley dispose of about 200 km of ski-slopes, including the connections with the neighbouring districts. The skiing district of the Fassa Valley is one of the most modern ones you will find in the Dolomites: short waiting times, up-to-date ascent plants and, most of all, a planned snow-covering control system assure the best skiing results from the very beginning of winter-time.
Each ski-run is constantly kept in perfect conditions so that an optimum snow-cladding gives the best safety conditions. The final result is a favourable snow offer, with wide opportunities for everyone’s needs. The possibility of daily changing your skiing area is perhaps what distinguishes the Fassa Valley as one of the Capital Cities for international skiing. A computerised access to the plants, together with a free skibus service are certainly two further means that always assure an easy mobility for our guests. Snow in the Fassa Valley simply means “surprise”: you may begin with the “Belvedere/Passo Pordoi” area, the privileged starting point for the “Sella Ronda”, the well-known skiing tour around the Sella massive; then you can go to the “Ciampac” area and the “Fedaia Pass/Marmolada”. The skiing offer goes on with Campitello and the “Col Rodella”, in direct connection with the “Sella Pass” or with Pozza and its skiing areas “Buffaure” and “Aloch”, with its renewed Ski Stadium giving you the memorable pleasure of night skiing. Descending along the valley, you will meet Vigo with the skiing area “Catinaccio Ciampedie” and “Carezza”, the famous ski-slope “Alberto Tomba”. You can finally conclude your tour in Moena, in the “Alpe Lusia”, the “San Pellegrino Pass” and tits ski link with the “Tre Valli” district. Some rich and various possibilities are given to all ski lovers...each of them will find their own ideal area for marvellous days on the snow.
