The Ampezzo DolomitesThe basin of Cortina d’Ampezzo is definitely one of the most famous in the entire Dolomites. Famous mountain groups like the Tofane, Sorapiss, Cristallo and the Croda Rossa supervise the frequented touristic centre - all mountains renowned for their difficult alpine paths and their long ski slopes.
The Cortina Mountains however also offer great opportunities for easy tours on mountain bikes. Due to a network of former military itineraries and easy, sign-posted mule tracks it is possible to easily reach places, which at first sight might seem difficult to reach. |
